Gramin Skill Development Mission is Training Partner with PMKVY since 2016 and worked in PMKVY 2.0 Project as a Training Partner of Project run by the Ministry of Skill Development and National Skill Development Corporation and associate 11 Training Centers for the completion of Project with about 3000 students trained in various job roles.

About Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
Gramin Shiksha Contribution :

2. PMKVY-RPL:
About Project:
Recogonition of Prior Learning commonly known as RPL largely refers to an assessment process used to evaluate a person's existing skill sets, knowledge and experience gained either by formal, non-formal or informal learning.
In August 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministries of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to jointly undertake upskilling and certification of 100,000 RAC service technicians on good servicing practices and knowledge of alternative refrigerants to ozone-depleting chemicals. The project will be funded under the Skill India Mission – Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and will be jointly implemented by ESSCI and Ozone Cell.
Gramin Shiksha Contribution:
As Gramin Shiksha is a Training Partner with Electronics Sector Skill Council and undergone Training of about 10000 candidates under PMKVY-RPL of RAC Technicians in 7 states i.e Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh and contributed with ESSCI to achieve the target.
